Laguna province has a multiple number of falls and lakes. One that amazed me is the Hulugan falls. It is located in Brgy. San Salvador, Luisiana, Laguna. The trek towards the falls is not that easy especially when it is rainy season, because there is a river crossing in the way and the water level might rise if the rain pours heavily.
Thus deciding to go to Hulugan falls in a rainy days makes you expect a muddy way. Good thing about the area is that there is already an ongoing construction of safer pavement for the mass tourists that visit this beautiful scenery.
There are 3 falls you can visit in this place; namely Talay Falls, Hidden Falls, and the magnificent Hulugan falls. Seeing the first 2 falls will make you already fascinated. The Talay falls can be seen without effort because it lies just on the ground. However, the Hidden falls, as the name implies, is hidden on top of the Talay falls. So, careful ascending and propeling are necessary to get there.

The sound of the pouring water relaxes me. Staying in this spot in front of the Hidden falls for a few minutes is a relief after a long walk of ascending and descending.

The Hidden falls is connected with the Talay falls. The latter is just beneath the Hidden falls.

After the two falls, we proceeded right away towards the major falls, which is the Hulugan falls. The distance from the two falls to the Hulugan falls is not that so far.
As we get near to the last falls, the sound of the falling water excites me.

The sight of the Hulugan falls from afar will make you realize how amazing it is. The falls is really gigantic, It has lengthy width and the water is so extreme,

The view when you get near to the falls is even more amazing. The splash of the water from the falls will make you wet even you not really directly in contact with the falling water.

Numbers of visitor are large during weekend. Tourists came from various places.

The color of the water in the river is brown, that is why it is not meant for swimming in. There is a safe source of water in the stone near the falling water and it tastes good.
